Ear Candling - Thermo-Auricular Therapy - £25 / 45 Mins

Thermal Auricular Therapy or Ear Candling has been used in Britain for over 15 years in the treatment of common ear, nose and throat conditions. Hopi ear candling, as it is also known, originates from the Hopi Indians of North America. However, it has much more practical applications in today's world, from balance problems, excessive wax, ringing in ear, migraines, headaches, sinusitis and ear, nose and throat infections.

Thermal Auricular Therapy is a pleasant, non-invasive treatment of the ears, used to treat a variety of conditions. During treatment, the client can either turn their head to the side or lie on their side and the lit candle is gently twisted into the auditory canal. The candle is held vertically in this position until it has burned down, this takes approximately 10-15 mins and is then gently removed. The client then either turns their head to the other side or turns over and the process is repeated. After this an ear and face massage can be given to help clear ear and nasal passages. This treatment is both therapeutic and relaxing and the client may find they can hear and breath more easily.
